High-performance structural adhesives or engineering adhesives are an integral part of advanced composite applications. These advanced-technology adhesives generally have mechanical properties at least equal to those of the bonded materials and are compatible with the ultimate strength of the finished part obtained after bonding.

The ARALDITE series of adhesives are structural adhesives specially developed to meet demanding engineering requirements. ARALDITE structural adhesives include epoxy, polyurethane and methacrylate-based adhesives, each selected for its superior performance in different applications. You can use this series when bonding carbon fibre, GRP / FRP, metal, wood, aluminium honeycomb, nomex honeycomb, some types of plastics and other materials.

Application: The resin and hardener, prepared by weighing on a precision scale according to the required amount, are mixed by hand for at least 2 minutes until a homogeneous colour is obtained. Since the mixing ratio is critical, the ratios specified below must be observed.
